Avi Gupta

Founder, Executive Director

12th Grade, Catlin Gabel School
Avi is the founder and executive director of Project32. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his parents, sister, and dog. When not working to eradicate dental disease, Avi enjoys playing basketball, chess, and tennis, and competing for his school’s mock trial team.

Kian Palmer is a junior at Lincoln HS and lives in Portland, Oregon. His favorite pastimes include wrenching on his car, video games, and coordinating large-scale annihilation of oral bacteria through Project32.

12th Grade, Catlin Gabel School
Jeremiah lives in Portland, Oregon, and loves to study jazz guitar and write. Jeremiah, unlike other teens, enjoys visits to the dentist. He dreams of a world where all youth have access to dental care.

Robert is passionate about government, law, science, and the arts. He is a leader of the Geopolitical Club, a member of the Mock Trial Team, and a Varsity Tennis player. He enjoys the outdoors, especially biking and skiing, and helping people in his local community and those in need around the world.

Dawit Dean

Director of Engagement

11th Grade, Catlin Gabel School
Dawit was born in Ethiopia and now resides in Beaverton, Oregon, where he spends most of his extracurricular time playing varsity basketball. During the offseason, he runs track and plays basketball for a club team. He understands the importance of dental health (he has had some cavities of his own) and believes that everyone should have the opportunity for a killer smile.

Jeremy has grown up in Portland, Oregon, but is headed to Grinnell College in Iowa this fall. He enjoys playing basketball, reading, video games, and chilling at home with his cat. While the cat can’t go to college with him, his dental habits definitely can, especially remembering to floss every night!
